It's a Wrap!

I have added photos from both the school tour and the dinner at The Pub.  This was my final task for our 25 Year Reunion.  I truly enjoyed planning our reunion because I have nothing but great memories of my years at North High School, with the exception of a few Algebra classes and those scary months when they tried to close our school.  Seeing our classmates gather together to share a meal, laugh over old memories and make new ones was a joy.  I'm one of those crazy people that actually loves class reunions.  I love that I could walk around the room and talk to every person there and it didn't matter that we didn't run in the same crowd during high school.  Those cliques don't exist any longer.  Now we are all one clique....the Class of 1986.  Go Huskies!!

I plan to keep in touch with all of you and can't wait to see you again in 2016!

The banquet room entrance is on the east side of the building.  There is also additional parking across the street.  Can't wait to see everyone!

Last minute reminders....

School Tour
The school tour is at 10:30am tomorrow.  Please meet at the main entrance on Stringtown Road.  There is no cost involved with the tour and you are welcome to bring your kids, grandkids, siblings, parents, etc.  The building will be closing in December so this really may be one of your last chances to see the old school and show your kids where you went to dances, played basketball, or which chair you sat in for homeroom.  If you haven't made a reservation, don't worry about it.  All you need to do is show up.

The Pub
The doors will open at The Pub at 6:00pm.  A buffet dinner will be served at 6:30pm.  We will take our class photo after dinner...around 7:30pm.  There will be a cash bar available.  The cost of alcohol was not included in your reservation fee.  We felt that this was the only way to be fair to everyone.  If the cost of alcohol were included, the non-drinkers would be paying for something they weren't drinking.  The bar will be open until 11:00pm.  We have a few prizes to give away during the evening but mostly it will be a night of catching up with old friends, sharing old memories and making new ones.

Late Arrivals
We will not have someone standing at the door all night.  They would have to miss out on all the fun!  If you arrive after dinner, please look for Mary Brown Fuller.  She will have your nametags and prize tickets and will be able to take your payment if you have not already paid.

Class Photo
The class photo will be made available online following the class reunion.  However, if you would prefer to have an 8X10 mailed to you, there will be a signup sheet at the check-in table.  The cost will be $5.

The age old question...."What are you going to wear?"

Several people have asked over the last few days what the 'dress' is for this reunion. My answer has been casual. The Pub has a rather casual atmosphere. Personally, I'll probably be in pants and a sweater.  Something between a tux and pajama pants will be just fine......

Four days until the party begins!!!

Hey there Huskies! Our 25 year reunion is only days away! We had several last minute reservations and now have over 50 people attending. If anyone else would still like to attend and hasn't turned in a reservation just let me know we will squeeze you in. We will not turn any classmates away!

Some classmates have let me know that they would like to come but due to work or other committments they can't come until later in the evening. If that is the case, please go ahead and come! Just let me know and I'll get with you on the cost and get you added to the list. See you all in a few days!!

It's almost here!!!

Our 25 Year Reunion is almost here!!!  I can't wait to see all of you!!  I've heard from several classmates that would still like to send in reservations so I spoke to the great people at The Pub and they have given me a little extra time to take reservations and give them our final number.  I have extended the cutoff date to October 1st.  That is the absolute last day that I can take reservations so please, please, please....get them in the mail right away!!!
